Problems with Range Validation for an entity with a property of type Short

I am having a similar issue as described in this thread:

I set the validation for a int16 entity to 0-1000

It always fails when I attempt to save the changes:

If I clear out the validate value field it saves just fine. Any suggestions?

Yes, looks to be largely the same issue, just relating to Int16. Ive added a fix for this and this will be available in the next nightly build for you.
