Piechart questions

Hi,

I'm using the pie chart more like an image with 8 equal slices. When the user selects one, it will trigger a change event and I'll do something with it. The reason I'm using a pie chart is because it has animation already built in so I don't have to redo it.

So my questions are as follows.

1. Is it possible to rotate the pie chart so that the the slice does not start at 0 or 180 degrees?
2. Do you have example style for pie charts? For example, borders around slices, selected slice change to different color?
3. Is there a way to have tooltip show the sting value (from a StringDouble class) as the user hovers over different slices?
4. Is there a way to force the pie chart to have 1 slice selected at all time?

Hello Andy

1. You can specify the starting angle of the first slice by setting the StartAngle property of the PieSeries.
2. Look at the source code of the SampleExplorer app and go to app.xaml. Search for "PieSlice styles" to see the custom styles we us in the Sample Explorer app. The plain style is a good example for you. All the styles include the animation code which you can customize if you want.
3. The easiest way to do this would be to set something like ToolTipBinding="{Binding String}" on the PieSeries.
4. Unfortuantely this is not yet possible. I've put this on our back log for now, but not certain when I will implement this.
