They would like to have the ability to close the control without selecting a colour using keyboard. Currently it is possible to do this by clicking somewhere else on the screen or by clicking on the drop down arrow. But they would like to have keyboard control and close the colour picker by pressing the ESC key. According to them this would fit with the standard popup window behavior. Instead of writing functionality on top of the control to implement this feature, we thought it might be worth mentioning it to you guys. What are your thoughts on this? Regards

Nice idea! It will be in the next nightly build (23 June). However, please note that if the user has made a selection in the colour picker, and then presses Esc, the Esc key will not undo the selection. Esc will merely close the popup. Please let us know if you run into any problems. |
