Usually I develop and run an application under a system with the Aero theme. But if I try to do it under the Classic theme I will get such an exception inside your code. If I try to do it under the Aero2 theme I will get a similar exception ending with 'Aero2'. How can I avoid this? |

Hi Shuraz, The best way I know to avoid this is: In Visual Studio click "Debug" in the menu, then click "exceptions...". Expand the "Managed Debugging Assistants" section and make sure that "Binding Failure" is unchecked in the "Thrown" column (should be the second item listed in this section). Another way that I've heard this problem can be solved is making sure that your machine has the latest .Net framework installed including any service packs. Unlikely to be the issue in your case but figured I should still mention it. That's all I know about this issue - I haven't found a 'proper' way of resolving this. Hope these suggestions help! -Jason Fauchelle |
