VS 2010 installed on Winxp SP3 Oracle ODAC and Oracle client 11g installed and working with Entity Framework Lightspeed express installs with no problems create blank console project and add new Lightspeed model with no problems Click on server explorer, click on existing database connection to Oracle 11gR2 database Visual Studio crashes with this exception Unhandled exception at 0x7c812aeb in devenv.exe: 0xC0020001: The string binding is invalid. next exception is Unhandled exception at 0x791b2f86 in devenv.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000034.
