Hello Jason We have noticed that when we activate vertical axes for some charts, the BuildChart procedure in the WpfElements code re-triggers an update of itself again and again and again so it sort of goes into an infinite loop and thus hangs the application. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to reproduce this in a repro project yet. Best regards |

Hello Jason To answer your questions:
Some new information regarding this issue What are your thoughts on this solution? Should we still try to find the cause on why it hangs when we set the visibility to collapsed? |

Hi Nicklas, Thanks for the answers, and for pointing out the collapsed axis, that may help me solve this issue later. I'll put fixing this on hold for now though, as setting the width of an axis to 0 is the recommended approach to hiding a Y axis in comparison to collapsing the axis. This is because if the axis is still plotting data, the axis needs a height in order to convert logical and pixel locations. Collapsing an axis causes both the with and height to be 0. Please let me know on the off chance that you run into the issue again. -Jason Fauchelle |
