Hi, Problem: Trying to install the SilverLight Elements (beta) hangs on the problem mentioned in title (after installing LS3.0 Pro). Cause: Not sure and I didnt have time to take a dump and windgb the hang, nor do I have access any more to a private ms symbol server or SL Elements pdbs and there was no activity in ProcessMonitor and eventvwr errors either. Solution: Using this as a giude http://www.mindscape.co.nz/forums/Thread.aspx?PostID=8427 when I got the "finishes determining your disk space" error twice after waiting patiently. I rebooted my PC and it (SL Elements) installed straight away.
