Here are my impressions on the trial version which I've been evaluating: 1) most controls have bad default sizes (too wide/short/narrow etc) when dragged onto the form. To make a good impression, I strongly recommend you change most of them to similar default MS controls sizes: 23 height, 120 width. (eg colorpicker, currencytextbox, dropdowneditbox, maskedtextbox, numerictextbox, integertextbox, spindecorator) 2) It would be nice if the text inside datetimepicker and dropdowndatepicker auto-fitted. It seems to get cut off. 3) An exception is always thrown when I drag AutoCompleteBox onto the form (object reference not set to an instance of an object). 4) It would be a good idea to fix the licenses.licx issue. I sometimes get runtime exceptions thrown on some controls, especially related to ProportionalStackPanel (even if I'm not using one.) 5) IntegerTextBox and NumericTextBox can have one more character typed into them than allowed, if you click on them and start typing into a number that's already there. 6) CurrencyTextBox should restore the currency symbol when the control loses focus |
