Bug with CreatedOn/UpdatedOn

Hello.

If i try to create columns CreatedOn/UpdatedOn with TrackCreateTime off and TrackUpdateTime off (i want to track times manually), model designer every time tries to re-add columns and fails to do so.

It seems that these are reserved names. It is not possible to use properties with these names?

Yes, the presence of a special named fields e.g. _createdOn, _deletedOn, _updatedOn infers the automatic tracking behaviour. There are a couple of ways you can work around this.

1. Create a property with a slightly different name e.g. CreatedOnDate and then set the ColumnName property to CreatedOn. Use this approach if you want the underlying column to be CreatedOn but are not so concerned about the property name.

2. Create a property with a slightly different name e.g. CreatedOnDate, then set the Generation Type to FieldOnly and manually create a property in a partial class called CreatedOn which wires up against the _createdOnDate field in the normal manner (calling Get() and Set()). You can optionally also set the ColumnName property to CreatedOn. Use this approach if you want the property name to be CreatedOn and optionally also the column name.
