Hi Guys, I'm trying out the LightSpeed designer, and can't find any way to put comments on properties and entities. Is there one? If not, might you be persuaded to squeeze one in to Lightspeed 5? ;-) To me it would ideally work like this:
There is a work around for class-level properties (just write them in the partial class), but there is no work around for properties because there is no such thing as a partial property. On my previous project we had exactly the same problem with LINQ to SQL, and I promised myself that I would never again use a Designer that lacked comment support! :-) John |

Are you specifically referring to XML comments? If so, just right-click and choose Documentation. The Documentation window appears as a separate window but tracks the selection in the same way as the property inspector. (It's a separate window because docs tend to be a bit longer than normal property values!) |
