The color of the "CSS Extension Directive" on the VS11 dark theme is not readable (dark blue on dark gray). Thankfully found the setting to be able to chance in "Tools - Options - Environment - Fonts and Colors" (thanks for that!). Not sure if that can be changed automatically? Of it's in the docs where to change those settings. |

Its probably possible for us to change things like this automatically but we would rather not dabble with users color configurations and I am not sure if its possible to infer what VS theme is in use as I think that just applies a set of pre-configured defaults over the settings file. Thanks for the heads up though its likely something that a few people will run into - out of interest what did you end up changing the color to? :)

Hi Jeremy, You bet, and thanks for the quick response. I hear you. A note in the documentation would be good enough for me. I went with "Silver" as a quick n' dirty try. I'll probably spend more time with the color scheme as soon as I'm back to doing more UI work on the project. If I do change it, I'll be sure to document my final selection here. Best, Jason |

I had the same issue, I was looking in the fonts and colors settings but i was looking for entries like Web Workbench or SASS * It wasn't until i saw this post that i discovered that it was CSS** I ended up changing the following colors CSS Extension Directive: Magenta CSS Extension Variable Declaration: 255,172,0 CSS Extension Variable Reference: Yellow |

Also, i appear to have broken something on your website, my previous post looks different to what i entered and when i try to edit it i get an asp.net error page |

Thanks for the heads up on the error - we saw this and Ive passed this on to JD to get fixed up :)

I just came across this same problem with the dark theme in VS2013 / Mindscape Workbench v 3.3.1608. One thing worth mentioning here is that the name of the display item you'll need to change is "CSS Extension Directive" |
