The main focus of the release is a number of refactorings to lay the foundation for improvements that we want to make in portability (allowing LightSpeed to be run on restricted .NET profiles such as Silverlight, WinRT etc, making aspects of what we provide more pluggable). The main visible change of this effort will be that providers are going to operate in a plug-in model as opposed to being tightly integrated as they currently are. We also have some improvements we want to make to adhoc querying (e.g. using adhoc SQL), migrations and adding a SQL 2012 provider.
