No, there has been no change here. Your best bet would still be to wrap this in a stored procedure and query using a ProcedureQuery. We are not planning any direct support for this at this stage as this still remains fairly niche, however we are making improvements with 5.0 which will make it easier to use hand crafted SQL in places where you need to make use of things like TVF's.
