I have just upgraded my computer to Windows 10 and VS 2015, both of which on the whole are working well. The problem I have is that I am unable to open Lightspeed in VS2015. I have already read the other notes, and found on one computer installing v 5.5 resolved the issue. However, on this second computer, when I try to install LS 5.5, it needs to uninstall the old version of VS 5.0, unfortunately it is unable to locate the old MSI, and I am unable to locate a copy on my other systems, so the uninstall of 5.0 fails, hence preventing me form installing v 5.5. So I need to know how to a) download a old 2014 version of LS5.0, or b) do a clean uninstall, so I can install a fresh version of LS 5.5. Many thanks Mark |

For uninstalling you should be able to use any version of 5 (or 5.5) to achieve this as it will uninstall any previous version. The most common fix we are seeing for any integration issues with VS 2015 is to run "devenv /setup" from under the VS2015 Common7/IDE folder from an elevated Command Prompt, we call this during setup but there seems to be some issue where this doesnt actually do what it needs to do on the first run and running it again resolves the lingering issues. If you do need a specific build number (or dated build) email us at support at mindscape.co.nz with the details of what you need and we can make this available for you.
