Error when a View in SQL server uses Left Outer Join

When I select from a view that uses Left Outer Joins in SQL management studio I get different results that when I enumerate that same view using LightSpeed. When I query with SSMS I get:

Notice in the SSMS results that item 154 is related to 155,158 who are then related to 156,157,159 and 160. When I use LightSpeed I get back 155 and 156 only, repeated over and over.

The solution we used to recreate this issue is attached. We created the database in use by using the LightSpeed designer menu item "Update Database." We are using Visual Studio 2015.
