I keep seeing references to the DiagramSurface.SelectedElementChanged event in posts. I recently downloaded the WPF Diagrams trial and cannot find this event. Do I have to download a nightly build for this? If so this is rather odd because I have seen references to this event from posts 9 months ago. Should this have not made it into a main build by now? |

Hi Greg, We only push things into the main build when we release a new formal version (e.g. 1 -> 2.0 -> 2.2 etc). We are looking at shipping a major new version of WPF Diagrams very very soon (think days, not weeks). We would normally have released a new major update within 9 months but all I can say is that the new major version took considerably longer than we expected. The benefits will be in the amazing capabilities of the new version, but yes, too long between releases for sure. I hope that explains the situation - please feel free to grab the nightly build of the trial. If you are looking at purchasing WPF Diagrams I would strongly recommend doing so now as we are increasing the price with the major release and I wouldn't want you to get a surprise on that front. I hope that helps, John-Daniel Trask |
