DataGrid with hierarchical data, sorting problem

If yoiu click on a column heading (trying to sort it) of an empty grid it crashes

I still got this. I think it's related to sorting

I have not been able to reproduce this issue, but based on the stack trace, I have implemented a candidate fix at the most likely point of error. This will be available in the next nightly build. Let me know if the problem remains.
