Good day, Just wanna ask why is it that there are many tutorials here using C# and there are only a few for VB.net Is C# more widely used than VB.net? Is it more powerful? Do i need to use C# instead of vb.net? I'm a VB.net newbie user, Is there a thread here that supports VB.net? Thank you... |

Hi Roger, C# is generally more widely used than Visual Basic these days -- it's a great language. That's basically why there are more C# examples than VB :-) It's always good to learn new languages, it helps you think about problems in different ways. C# is not too difficult to learn, it's less verbose than C# so you might enjoy it for that fact as well. Having said that, if you'd rather stick with VB, that's fine too - post here if you need an example on how to achieve something using VB. Kind regards, John-Daniel Trask |
