Hi, I was thrilled to see an addin which supports .LESS file and gave syntax highlighting for them as well. So I was gutted to find that the extension does not seem to work at all with Resharper 6 installed. Does anyone know a way I can get the less files to open with the Web Workbench highlighting while still using resharper elsewhere?
Many thanks

Hi Richard, We've now had a couple of reports of problems with Resharper 6, and we're investigating. We have seen it working on some machines with Resharper installed (needless to say, all the machines we tested before release were fine *sigh*), but we've now confirmed the problem on other machines, and we're investigating. We don't have a solution yet and we really apologise for the inconvenience, but we'll let you know as soon as we can figure out where the conflict lies or even an interim workaround or a way of disabling Resharper for .less files only. |

Thanks for the prompt reply! Will wait patiently (and will do some more investigating myself). |

Hi Richard, We've established that this definitely does not happen on all machines with Resharper -- in fact on most of our test machines the two coexist quite happily. So we think there may be an environmental issue involved. Could you let us know what OS you are running, whether it is the 32-bit or 64-bit version and whether you have VS2010 SP1 installed? Also, this is a long shot, but did you install the F# component as part of VS2010? (You should be able to tell by opening Help > About and seeing if the "Installed Products" list includes "Microsoft Visual F# 2010" -- probably near the top if it is.) Thanks for your help! |

Hi Richard, We have a candidate fix for this issue up on the Visual Studio Gallery now -- could you grab the update and let us know if it solves the problem? Thanks! |

Ok, it's official. You guys rule!
The fix works and sorts out the whole problem!
For reference to you previous questions: I am using win 7 64bit, Resharper 6, VS2010 with SP1 installed, MVC3 tools update.
I will now go and tweet how great Mindscape is!
Thanks once again. |

Oh and one more thing, I do have F# installed. |

Headingthis doesn't work with resharper 7 installed either. I can only type letters, but I can't navigate the files. I guess you are just too busy creating the 'go pro' fuckup that you forget about the essence: create a quality product. I'm looing elsewhere. |

It works great with Resharper 7 installed - the entire Mindscape team uses Resharper 7 with no issues. Check your other extensions. Kind regards, John-Daniel Trask |
