We have created a new and quite simple model (4 classes). We can execute a query like this:

        // working 
        Entity1 elem = uow.Entity1s.Where(y => y.Entity2s.Any()).First();

but a bit more complex queries cannot be executed:

         // not working
        var queryA = uow.Entity2s.Where(x => x.Entity1 == elem).Select(s => s.Id).ToList();
        var queryB = uow.Entity1s.Where(y => y == elem).SelectMany(s => s.Entity2s).Select(a => a.Id).ToList();
