Until now we have always used SQL Server on Windows Servers, and been happy with them. But more of our customers are begining to be more cost concious, and want to use PostgreSQL on a RHEL platform. I was wondering if anyone out there is using this configuration, with Lightspeed of course? And if so, what are the potential problems I should be aware of? Whilst I understand this is not an area for Linux or Windows type debates, I was wondering if the move we are considering would be a wise one in terms of performance and stability. Many thanks in advance for any insights. |
