Can I use an sql function when querying

Hi,

I have the following bit of code:

    public static IQueryable<TFilterable> FilterByUserAccess<TFilterable>(User user, IQueryable<TFilterable> results) where TFilterable : Entity, IUserAccessFilterable
    {
        ...

        if (user.HasCcRestriction && results.Any())
        {
            List<TFilterable> data = new List<TFilterable>();
            foreach (var item in results.OrderByDescending(x => (x as AccClaimSearch).DateClosed).Take(ClaimConsts.MaxClaimsToIterate))
            {
                if (user.CanAccessRestrictCc(item.ClientId, item.Cc)) // checks CC structure to see if user can access any parent of the item CC
                {
                    data.Add(item);
                }
            }

            results = data.AsQueryable();
        }

        return results;
    }

I don't like the foreach. Given a sql server function "CcHasParent " I would like to have something like:

result = result.Where(x => xyz.CcHasParent(x.CC, user.RestrictedToCC);

Is there any way to access the sql function in our linq where clause?
