Hello Guys, Are you going to add support for Visual Studio 11 for LightSpeed designer? And when we can hope to get it? Konstantin |
|
|
Do you have any clue about that? |

Hi, We've used a hack in the past to get another of our products (Web Workbench) to work with Visual Studio 2011. We'll likely have a look at this in the new year however at the moment it's not a priority (also, LightSpeed has much deeper integration than the Web Workbench so it may not be as simple to achieve it). We will update this thread when it's added. John-Daniel |

Hello John-Daniel, According to Jason Zanders blog, Microsoft is going to release a new Visual Studio 11 Beta with "go-live" license on 29 February 2012. So, it would be the main production tool for us, if you adopt LightSpeed designer for it. Any time-plan for it? Best regards, Konstantin. |

Hi Konstantin, Once the beta and SDK are made available we will be reviewing the designer integration so we will be able to say a bit more about this in a few days I suspect. We will certainly post an update once we have a bit more clarity on this!

Hi Konstantin, Starting with todays nightly build (03/01) the LightSpeed installer will install the model designer to integrate with VS11 beta. I am still working through testing this across different install configurations of Visual Studio but I thought you would be keen to get this so you can install it for your use. Let me know if you run into any issues.
