I installed the web workbench. I can see it in my extensions manager. I've created a coffee file, but nothing happens when I save it. Appears to be no additional command to compile the coffeescript. I assume I'm missing something as many seem to like this but for me it appears to be vapor ware. Right-click your .coffee file in Solution Explorer and choose Properties. Check the Custom Tool property. This should be set to CoffeeScriptGenerator. If it isn't, try entering CoffeeScriptGenerator into the box by hand. The JavaScript should then be generated on the next save, or you should be able to force it by right-clicking the file in Solution Explorer and choosing Run Custom Tool. |
