Does anyone know if LightSpeed 3 search engine support Japanese text?

Hi Gild, It does not support Japanese text by default. We use the popular Lucene search engine at the core with the StandardAnalyzer. The StandardAnalyzer does not support Japanese unfortunately. However, the Analyzer being used is pluggable so it would be a case of providing you with a replacement ISearchEngine implementation that does exactly what the current search engine does, but uses an Analyzer that does support Japanese. From my looking around it looks as though this article includes a Japanese language Analyzer: http://www.atmarkit.co.jp/fdotnet/vblab/extcompo_06/lucenenet_01.html Is all of your data japanese that you wish to search over? I'm just not sure if this analyzer supports English and Japanese at once. I can assist in guiding you through implementing your own SearchEngine that uses this the Japanese Analyzer.
