The search functionality in the toolbar of the PropertyGrid works quite well. My singular complaint is that after typing a series of characters into the box, one has to 'back out' of the search one character (backspace) at a time. For very large property sheets, there is a slight lag involved here, as the search re-runs each time a character is removed. It is of course possible to select all and then delete, but this is non-intuitive. Some programs (Visual Studio 2012, for example) have a Clear Search button on the right hand side of the input box, so that the filtering can be cleared in a single click. I've attached an image of this functionality-- I'd love to see it in the mindscape property grid. |
