Some problems with AutoCompleteBox

1. type something so that the dropdown list appears, and while the dropdown list is visible move the parent form. The list stays in place. I would expect it to close, or move with the textbox.
2. Say that the Text property has the binding Text="{Binding Underlying, Mode=TwoWay}". If I change Undrlying programmatically the dropdown list appears. The dropdown should only appear with user action.
3. How can I make the control ONLY accept VALUES IN SuggestionsSource ? For instance, if IBM is in SuggestionsSource and the user type "ibm" it should be converted to upper case.

Thanks for all these suggestions.

1. I've improved the way the AutoCompleteBox manages the popup. It now properly handles moving/resizing a window as well as using Alt+Tab and Win+Tab. Managing popups in WPF is tricky, so let me know if there are still scenarios that can cause it to remain open.
2. The popup will now only open by user input and not by programmatic changes to the Text property.
3. I've added the IsSuggestionListExclusive property. Setting this to true will force the final value to be a valid value from the suggestion list when the control loses focus or the Enter key is pressed.

All these updates will be available in the next nightly build.

It's much better. However, after testing, at some point the list stops showing... and it never shows again. Does that make sense?

Somehow the base TextBox class was stealing the TextInput event in some scenarios. This will be resolved in the next nightly build.

I don't see a March 8th nightly build...

WPF Elements seems to be running a day later than normal. The current nightly build will include the fix.

Say that

Text="{Binding Underlying,Mode=TwoWay}"
IsSuggestionListExclusive="True"

If I set Underlying="IBM" in code, and immanently after the user clicks on something else in the window so that the AutoCompleteBox loses focus, the string IBM disappears from the AutoCompleteBox!
