TreeLayoutAlgorithm Customization

Is it possible to do the following with the TreeLayoutAlgorithm (LeftToRight LayoutDirection)?

1. Place all disconnected nodes in the same left column as the root layer for groups of connected nodes. Currently they appear in a single row to the right of the groups of connected nodes.

2. Ensure that there is whitespace between groups of connected nodes. Currently, nodes from separate groups can share the same row if their structures allow them to be nested in that way.

These features will be available in the next nightly build which you can download from your account page: http://www.mindscapehq.com/store/myaccount (available at around 1200 GMT).

1. I've considered the current behaviour to be a bug. What you suggested will just work when you install the next update.
2. To separate groups of connected nodes, you can set the new GroupSpacing property. By default, this value is -1 which indicates that groups are not separated (the current behaviour). Setting this property will enable group separation, and of course separate the groups by the specified value.
