UnauthorizedAccessException

Hi,

while using you trial version of MetroElements, i continuously get this exception:

UnauthorizedAccessException: Accesso negato. (Eccezione da HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) at Windows.UI.Popups.MessageDialog.ShowAsync() at Mindscape.LicenceUtils.d0.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.AsyncMethodBuilderCore.b0(Object state) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs) at MS.Internal.Threading.ExceptionFilterHelper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate method, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler)

I was trying your book element and i also noted this "strange" behaviour:

    <metroElements2:Book x:Name="MyBook" HorizontalAlignment="Center" Height="459" Margin="0,20,0,0" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="1112" BorderBrush="#FFFFA200" BorderThickness="2" Background="#FFE87A7A">

As you can read i settled borderbrush and background to a determinate color, but non of them worked. Border remaind uncoloured and background too.

is it all due to the use of the trial?

Thanks for pointing out the access denied exception. This bug has now been resolved and is available in the current nightly build. You can download the latest nightly build from here: http://www.mindscapehq.com/products/metroelements/nightly-builds

Are you meaning to change the border and background of each page of the book? If so, you can do this by setting the ItemContainerStyle property. Here is an example: (You'll also need the latest nightly build for this to work better).

<Style x:Key="PageStyle" TargetType="ms:BookPage">
  <Setter Property="Background" Value="#FFFFA200" />
  <Setter Property="BorderThickness" Value="2" />
  <Setter Property="BorderBrush" Value="#FFE87A7A" />
