Been seeing several updates to Web Workbench in the Visual Studio Gallery, as well as nightly updates to LS (which I assume are automated), without corresponding release notes recaps in the blog. Is there anywhere I can find these? I'm curious to find out what is being updated before I install. Kris |

Hi Kris, Typically we update the release notes in the Web Workbench. We also need to get back in the habbit of posting on our blog about changes each week. We've had a bunch of releases for Web Workbench recently because we integrated Raygun (http://raygun.io) into the product and we've been finding a lot of really weird bugs (not impacting everyone, usually just the fun and joy of playing the VS extension space - problems with other extensions, that sort of thing). So we've pumped out a bunch of releases that tidy up a bunch of those concerns recently. There have been some minor feature improvements around source map improvements with CoffeeScript etc. Overall we're going to slow the release cycle to the gallery down again shortly because we've cleared most of the most glaring issues. Unfortunately the change log for that sort of thing would be a pretty dreary list of "Handling COMException" or "MultiTargetFileDropException". Hopefully you've never been impacted by these issues but they should help stability for a bunch of people. We'll return to cool feature additions and publishing a change log each week of all the changes :-) I hope that helps! |
