Hello, We are considering the purchase of licenses of Web Workbench Pro for 2 of our developers. We have not yet had luck in obtaining a response to our requests for licensing information through the website contact form. As part of our internal process, License Management’s responsibility is to review the product(s) from a licensing perspective and map the licensing metric back to the intended use before the possibility of executed purchases and/or agreements take place. The questions below are designed to cover various licensing scenarios and some questions may not apply to the product we are researching. If there is additional info you are able to provide that can help us in our compliance efforts, from a licensing perspective, please add additional notes. Please provide a copy of the latest End User License Agreement and answer the questions below as follows:
Our Virtual Server Environment consists of a cluster of servers and VM’s that are hosted in the server cluster. We would assign CPU/resources to a Single Virtual Server. The Virtual Machine with the install of the product will float across the farm for redundancy but will only use the VM resource assigned to it.
Please forward this to your licensing area for validation. Thanks, Kforce License Management Software Compliance Specialists License Management Kforce Professional Staffing 813.552.2550/800-893-7798 813.552.2588 fax Licensemanagement@Kforce.com www.kforce.com Great People = Great Results® Confidentiality Notice: This email message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and/or privileged information. The license can be viewed online here: http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/site/2b96d16a-c986-4501-8f97-8008f9db141a/eula?licenseType=None which I believe should cover most of your concerns. The pro subscription is licensed on a per developer basis and covers 1 years support and access to the nightly builds and any product updates during that time. The free version is updated periodically through the Visual Studio gallery. You can use Amex by using Paypal when purchasing through the store. Let us know if you have any other queries :)
