I have a 3000 line coffeescript file that is taking 45 seconds to compile. I'm sure a couple of iterations of Web Workbench ago it wasn't nearly so slow. Development has slowed right down as even the smallest change requires a nearly 1 minute wait to run. I understand there are some plugins that might be causing the problem. Any guidance on which plug-ins cause problems and which part of them need to be disabled? Any ideas? Many thanks, Kurt |

Hi Kurt, Its certainly possible that something else is conflicting but we have typically seen issues with crashes rather than slow compilation with CoffeeScript. The main extensions we have seen issues with previously are Chirpy, Web Essentials and JSLint. If it would help feel free to send us through a copy of the files in question and I can see if we can reproduce this here. You can email these through to us at support at mindscape.co.nz rather than attaching them to the forum post if you would prefer.
