Silverlight Spline Area Chart
Spline area charts display a smooth curve through all the data points and fill the area between the curve and the X axis to suggest that the data adds up to a meaningful total. These charts are good for plotting data that flows through time such as temperature or energy. They can also be used in place of area charts to avoid a 'blocky' look.
Top Features
Multiple data series
Display multiple data sets overlaid on one another -- for example to represent different time periods -- so that users can relate activity across the data sets. Silverlight Elements smartly uses transparency to ensure that all data sets remain visible. You can even stack data series on top of each other using the stacked spline area chart.
Chart symbols
Display custom symbols and data labels at each data point. This can help users locate key data points, quickly assess data values and distinguish between data series or cases.
Data binding
Full support for Silverlight data binding makes it easy to hook charts up to your business objects and to keep your views lightweight and easy to test.
Fully customizable
Every part of the chart control can be customized to suit your applications. Styles or templates can be applied to the title, legend items, axis labels and much more.
And much more
Plus lots of great features and options supported across the Silverlight Chart range, including alternate Y axes, data labelling, zoom support, configurable selection modes, chart events, flexible axis labelling and scaling, background elements and high performance with even the largest data sets.
