Box plots (also known as a box-and-whisker plot) are a statistical chart used to visualize the five-number summary for several samples. Metro Elements has a great control for displaying this: your users will easily be able to see at a glance the minimum, lower quartile, median, upper quartile and maximum for their data.
Like all our chart controls, the Box Plot series has data binding support as standard. You can separately bind each of the statistical five numbers to different collections, or bind the ItemsSource of the control to a collection of point data which has properties for those numbers plus the X value. This of course supports maintainable architecture with the MVVM pattern.
The box and whisker visual element can have a custom style applied if you desire a unique look, such as filled-in boxes or thicker lines.
